Jadaliyya's culture co-editor Maymanah Farhat contributes two pieces:
- "Arts Versus Cultural Diplomacy" reviews Between Two Rounds of Fire, the Exile of the Sea: Arab Modern and Contemporary Works from the Barjeel Art Foundation, a recent exhibition at the American University Museum in Washington DC.
- Farhat also selects the top-five 2017 art exhibitions in the United States
